Dr. Gina Panozzo offers a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Board Certification Review Course to prepare nurses for the exam offered by the ANCC to earn credential PMH-BC. PMHNP students have also found the course beneficial in preparation for their board exam.

Psychiatric nurses in all specialties (home health, corrections, inpatient, outpatient, clinics, residential, rehabilitation centers), psychiatric nursing professors (clinical and or didactic), PMHNP students, psychiatric nurse managers and directors.

Course Specifics
Various resources are provided in the course. You will receive detailed slides and instruction on the exam, background, test taking strategies, and all content on the blueprint. The content is divided into modules, so you can learn at your own pace. You will be provided with two practice exams. Gina will review the answers and rationales. In addition, you will receive hundreds of practice exam items that you can take at your own pace. The answers and rationales are also provided. Case studies are included to apply your learning, a color coordinated medication chart with all categories to be aware of for the exam, behavioral health terminology, and a video list to supplement your learning. A self-tracking log is included to stay on track with preparation for the exam. Gina also created a log for you to track requirements to maintain the board certification after you pass the exam.

How Long Should I Prepare for the Exam?

Once you review all modules with video recordings, and complete the evaluation, you can download the certificate with contact hours. The course awards 16 contact hours.
