Workshop Description
The workshop is provided on Zoom. The dates and times are flexible. Prior to the workshop, the nursing program can email Gina their systematic evaluation plan, assessment modalities, and SLOs, including mapping to competencies. Gina will review the materials prior to the workshop and offer feedback during the live session. Gina will provide guidance to the nursing faculty on competency-based education, assessment, and evaluation. Examples will be provided. The program’s curriculum will be discussed and how competency-based education can be threaded throughout in a sequential modality. Accreditation considerations will be provided. There will be time for open discussion and recommendations on faculty practices.
