Helping nurse educators prepare for the NLN Certified Nurse Educator CNE® exam.

Description

Congratulations on taking steps to prepare for the NLN Certified Nurse Educator CNE® exam. Practice Exams One and Two have been developed for you to measure your knowledge on the content areas on the CNE® exam.

GP ACADEMY Practice Exams One and Two for the Certified Nurse Educator CNE® Exam

Each practice exam includes 75 items, so 150 items in total for both exams. They are untimed, but you should complete one exam at a time (in one sitting). Space out taking the exams, as Exam One will alert you of areas you are strong in and others that need reinforcement. Reviewing the content areas that need reinforcement should occur before taking Exam Two. You should finish each exam in roughly 1 hour and 53 minutes or 1.5 minutes per item. Feel free to set a timer. If you need to log out and back in or take the exam in more than one sitting, when you log back into the exam, you can continue where you left off.

When taking the exam, you can go back and forth, but it is not recommended to change your answers unless you have an epiphany or learning moment. Once you complete and submit the exam, there may be a short lag time. You will then receive the results (how you performed in each area on the test blueprint and answers with rationales for each item) on the website and in your email. You should aim for an 80% in each content area. You will be able to access the exam for six months from the purchase date. It is recommended to only take the exam one time, but you can take it more than once if needed.

The terms “faculty” and “nurse educator” are used in the items. In some cases, nurse educator is more appropriate to use, as it refers an educator teaching nursing, but in other cases faculty is used since nurse educators are part of college and university faculty. The terms “learner” and “student” are synonymous. The items have been written by Gina and a team of nurse educators who successfully passed the CNE® Exam.
