The review course dates are flexible. Gina can teach onsite or virtually via Zoom based on the organization’s preference.
Dr. Gina Panozzo offers a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Board Certification Review Course to prepare nurses for the exam offered by the ANCC to earn credential PMH-BC. PMHNP students have also found the course beneficial in preparation for their board exam.
Who Can Take the Review Course?
Psychiatric nurses in all specialties (home health, corrections, inpatient, outpatient, clinics, residential, rehabilitation centers), psychiatric nursing professors (clinical and or didactic), PMHNP students, psychiatric nurse managers and directors.

Course Specifics
Various resources are provided in the course. You will receive detailed slides and instruction on the exam, background, test taking strategies, and all content on the blueprint. You will be provided with two practice exams that will be taken at the end of each day. Gina will review the answers and rationales. In addition, you will receive hundreds of practice exam items that you can take at your own pace. The answers and rationales are also provided. Case studies are included to apply your learning, a color coordinated medication chart with all categories to be aware of for the exam, behavioral health terminology, and a video list to supplement your learning. A self-tracking log is included to stay on track with preparation for the exam. Gina also created a log for you to track requirements to maintain the board certification after you pass the exam.

How Long Should I Prepare for the Exam?
Gina recommends three months of preparation, studying 20 minutes per day minimum.
Contact Hours
The two-day review course must be attended in full. Once an evaluation is completed at the end of the second day, attendees will received a certificate of completion with contact hours. The course awards 16 contact hours.
